En particular, en el campo de la fisica medica, el codigo egs4, que usa este metodo, se ha empleado ampliamente en el estudio de los haces de uso clinico. Con este codigo y este metodo se ha estudiado la situacion especial de tratamiento de irradiacion corporal total (ict). El metodo de monte carlo es el unido capaz de solucionar las incertidumbres que aparecen en ella debido a sus caracteristicas, fundamentalmente en el espectro energetico del haz en esa situacion y en la dosimetria fisica y clinica. En este trabajo se han abordado estos dos puntos, por una parte se han obtenido y comparado los espectros a la salida de la cabeza del acelerador y a la distancia de tratamiento, la energia es ligeramente superior en este ultimo caso.  se obtiene, ademas, una relacion entre el parametro que caracteriza energeticamente el haz en ambas situaciones en funcion del tama\u00f1o de campo empleado y se sugiere un metodo para hacer esta caracterizacion en situaciones como las de ict. Por otra parte se ha dise\u00f1ado un programa que, a partir de la geometria del paciente dada por cortes de tac, calcula la dosis depositada en secciones del paciente.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
