Para ello , se ha generado un aamplia colecci\u00f3n de mutantes innsercionales, de entre los cuales se han selaccionado los insensibles a la se\u00f1al negativa del amonio. Las regiones gen\u00f3micas afectadas han sido identificadas para muchos de ellos.As\u00ed mismo, tambi\u00e9n se ha abordado la identificaci\u00f3n y el estudio de la expresi\u00f3n de los genes que codifican para transportadores de amonio de la familia amt1.
