Eugenia <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Acinetobacter baumannii es un bacilo gramnegativo aerobio causante de infecciones nosocomiales. El tratamiento de estas infecciones est\u00e1 marcado por la emergencia de resistencias a m\u00faltiples antimicrobinaos.  son necesarios estudios experimentales, in vitro e in vivo que eval\u00faen nuevas alternativas terap\u00e9uticas para la infecci\u00f3n por a.Baumanni.     los objetivos fueron:     1,- estudiar la actividad bactericida e imipenem, sulbactam, rifampicina y colistina, as\u00ed como el sinergismo in vitro entre estos antimicrobianos utilizando cepas de a.Baumannii pertenecientes a los clones multirresistentes y panresistentes coleccionados de muestras cl\u00ednicas.     2,- comparar la eficacia del tratamiento de la neumonia experimental por a.Baumannii multirresistentes entre imipenem, sulbactam, rifampicina y colistina, utilizados en monoterapia y asociados.     3,- evaluar la efectividad del tratamiento dela neumonia experimental por a.Baumannii panresistente con las combinaciones de antimicrobianos que mostraran sinergia in vitro.     4,- evaluar la aparici\u00f3n de cepas mutantes resistentes de a.Baumannii a rifampicina, durante su exposici\u00f3n in vitro e in vivo, as\u00ed como la posible prevenci\u00f3n de la resistencia adquirida con las combinaciones de rifampicina utilizadas en los experimentos in vivo.      para realizar los experimentos se utilizaron cepas cl\u00ednicas de a.Baumannii multirresistentes.
