En el cap\u00edtulo i se optimiza un procedimiento para la especiaci\u00f3n de cinco compuestos de ars\u00e9nico, as(iii), as(v), \u00e1cido monometilars\u00f3nico, \u00e1cido dimetilars\u00ednico y arsenobeta\u00edna, mediante el acoplamiento lc-hg-aas. La hibridaci\u00f3n de ambas t\u00e9cnicas es espec\u00edfica y sensible y los l\u00edmites de detecci\u00f3n son adecuados para determinar los compuestos de ars\u00e9nico y para su especiaci\u00f3n en el control de calidad de alimentos infantiles y el pescado utilizado en su elaboraci\u00f3n. Posteriormente, se profundiz\u00f3 en la estabilidad de los niveles de arsenobeta\u00edna en los alimentos infantiles durante su manufacturado y envejecimiento. En el cap\u00edtulo ii se propone la aplicaci\u00f3n del acoplamiento lc-hg-aas a la especiaci\u00f3n de seis formas de esta\u00f1o: esta\u00f1o inorg\u00e1nico, tributilesta\u00f1o, dibutilesta\u00f1o, monobutilesta\u00f1o, difenilesta\u00f1o y monofenilesta\u00f1o. El m\u00e9todo se ha aplicado para la especiaci\u00f3n de los compuestos organoesta\u00f1o en mejillones.  la segunda parte se ha distribuido en tres cap\u00edtulos que abordan la especiaci\u00f3n de selenio, antimonio y telurio utilizando la hibridaci\u00f3n cromatograf\u00eda l\u00edquida-generaci\u00f3n de hidruros-espectroscop\u00eda de fluorescencia at\u00f3mica (lc-hg-afs) en diferentes tipos de alimentos o muestras medioambientales. en el cap\u00edtulo iii se optimiza la especiaci\u00f3n de distintas formas de selenio. se ha optimizado la t\u00e9cnica acoplada lc-uv-hg-afs para la determinaci\u00f3n en l\u00ednea de se(iv), se(vi), selenocistina y selenometionina. La separaci\u00f3n se realiza acoplando en serie dos columnas de intercambio i\u00f3nico y de fase reversa.
