Fue la segunda especie m\u00e1s frecuentemente aislada en muestras de procedencia interna (hemocultivo, punta de cat\u00e9ter, etc&#8230;) Mostrando una buena sensibilidad a los antif\u00fangicos estudiados (anfotericina b. Fluconazol, itraconazol, ketoconazol, flucitosina y voriconzal). se analiz\u00f3 la hidrogobicidad de superficie celular (hsc) a 31 cepas constatando que a diferencia de c.Albicans que se muestra hidrog\u00f3bica o hidrogilica en funci\u00f3n de la temperatura de crecimiento, c.Parapsilosis mantiene elevados niveles de hsc a ambas temperaturas. por otro lado se estudio la adherencia de c.Parapsilosis a poliesterineo, observando que la temperatura de incubaci\u00f3n es un factor fundamental, ya que cuando se manten\u00eda en contacto el microorganismo con la superficie 24 h a 22\u00c2\u00bac, la adherencia fue significativamente mayor que a 37\u00c2\u00bac.
