Estos problemas pueden modelizarse por medio de un sistema de ecuaciones diferenciales ordinarias de segundo orden cuyas variables dependientes son concentraciones de especies que difunden a traves de una membrana o una disolucion. Los problemas que pueden plantearse tienen en general caracter no lineal y deben ser resueltos numericamente. Se han tratado problemas de difusion en membranas inhomogeneas, coeficientes de difusion variables con la posicion y concentracion en reacciones quimicas, membranas cargadas con distribucion de carga fija homogenea e inhomogenea en presencia de conveccion y densidad de corriente, y se estudia el fenomeno de difusion facilitada en membranas liquidas bajo la hipotesis de igualdad de coeficientes de difusion del solutoy del portador. Se incluyen como aprendice dos programas de calculo para el tratamiento de membranas cargadas y transporte facilitado.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
