El marco cronol\u00f3gico abarca desde el plioceno superior al holoceno. Se han identificado 190 especies. Se interpretan las condiciones ambientales predominantes en las que se formaron los diversos yacimientos y niveles estratigr\u00e1ficos. Se han realizado reevaluaciones de trabajos anteriores sobre algunos de los yacimientos. Se identifica la regi\u00f3n de la pen\u00ednsula y la cronolog\u00eda aproximada en las que aparece la perdiz com\u00fan alectoris rufa. Se examina la teor\u00eda de los refugios en el mediterr\u00e1neo y se ofrece una explicaci\u00f3n alternativa denominada modelos de los refugios mediterr\u00e1neos estables. Se estudian marcas de corte producidas por instrumental l\u00edtico, aparecidas en dos de los yacimientos, y se apoya la tesis de la utilizaci\u00f3n por los humanos de t\u00e9cnicas de
