Adem\u00e1s, recientemente las empresas multinacionales han manifestado una tendencia creciente a definir las posiciones directivas desde un enfoque transnacional. En consecuencia, la preparaci\u00f3n de directivos para ocupar dichas posiciones se han convertido en una preocupaci\u00f3n importante.  tras analizar la bibliograf\u00eda existente sobre el tema, y a partir de una investigaci\u00f3n cualitativa, entrevistando en profundidad a 35 directivos transnacionales de ocho distintos pa\u00edses europeos, la presente tesis doctoral desarrolla el contenido del puesto de trabajo de un directivo transnacional, discute acerca de los retos, los problemas y las recompensas del trabajo, identifica las mejores pr\u00e1cticas para ser efectivo en esta posici\u00f3n directiva, describe las competencias que se requieren para ello y propone c\u00f3mo formar directivos para ocupar dichas posiciones.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la
