Sin embargo, esta estrategia presenta ciertas limitaciones, siendo la m\u00e1s importante  el n\u00famero de cromosomas que pueden ser analizados. En este trabajo hemos evaluado la fiabilidad de la hibridaci\u00f3n gen\u00f3mica comparada (cgh) para analizar el complemento cromos\u00f3mico entero c\u00f3mo una alternativa al pgd utilizando fish. La cgh, al proporcionar un an\u00e1lisis m\u00e1s completo del cariotipo, permitir\u00eda la transferencia de tan solo embriones cromos\u00f3micamente normales, que son los m\u00e1s id\u00f3neos para producir un embarazo viable.  la validaci\u00f3n de la cgh se ha realizado evaluando la complementariedad entre los resultados obtenidos en los primeros corp\u00fasculos polares (1cp) y los obtenidos en el ovocito en metafase ii (mii). Se han analizado un total de 106 ovocitos donados por 71 mujeres. En 81 casos se analiz\u00f3 tanto la mii c\u00f3mo el 1cp, mientras que en 25 casos se analiz\u00f3 tan solo uno de los miembros de la pareja. La eficiencia de la cgh ha sido del 80,1% y la tasa de complementariedad del 87,4%. En algunos casos se ha detectado una falda de complementariedad entre el 1cp y la mii, explicable por la existencia de un mosaicismo gonadal en algunas de estas pacientes.  la incidencia de aneuploid\u00edas ha sido del 45,3%. Se han detectado un total de 80 aneuploid\u00edas que afectaban a casi todos los cromosomas, aunque, en general, los cromosomas peque\u00f1os tend\u00edan a mostrar una mayor incidencia.  pr\u00e1cticamente el 80% de estas aneuploid\u00edas corresponden a cromosomas que no son analizados con la estrategia de fish de nueve cromosomas, debido a que estos cromosomas no son responsables de descendencia tirs\u00f3mica viable ni de la mayor\u00eda de ahorros espont\u00e1neos.
