Tsao-m3t, un inhibidor no nucleos\u00eddico (inn), se une de un modo novedoso en la interfaz de dimerizaci\u00f3n entre las subunidades p66 y p51 de la ti del vih-1 distinto al sitio de uni\u00f3n de los inn \u00c2\u00bfcl\u00e1sicos\u00c2\u00bf. tsao-t es pues el primer ejemplo de mol\u00e9cula no pept\u00eddica que puede interferir en el proceso de dimerizaci\u00f3n de esta enzima, lo cual sugiere que podr\u00eda ser utilizado como cabeza de ser de una nueva familia de inhibidores.  . Mediante un an\u00e1lisis quimiom\u00e9trico tipo \u00c2\u00bfcombine\u00c2\u00bf aplicado a una serie de inn arilsulfonilbenzonitrilos de la ti del vih-1 es posible derivar un modelo qsar que no solo presenta un alta capacidad predictiva sino que tambi\u00e9n identifica correctamente los efectos de mutaciones obre residuos relevantes de la prote\u00edna que confieren tanto aumento de sensibilidad como resistencia.  . En la enzima mutante lys 103 ans se confirma la existencia de una barrera de energ\u00eda m\u00e1s alta para la creaci\u00f3n  del bolsillo de uni\u00f3n de los inn de la ti del vih-1 que en la enzima silvestre, la cual se ha puesto de manifiesto mediante un m\u00e9todo de simulaci\u00f3n de din\u00e1mica molecular dirigida.  . El efecto de la mutaci\u00f3n lys103 asn se puede superar dise\u00f1ando ligados, como la etravirina, que sean capaces de interferir con el enlace de hidr\u00f3geno establecido entre asn103 \u00c2\u00bf tyr 188 durante el proceso de acceso al sitio de uni\u00f3n, como se ha observado mediante la simulaci\u00f3n de la entrada de distintos inn hasta el interior del
