los principales motivos de este trabajo , es el de buscar nuevos sentidos y significaciones simb\u00f3licas, en algunos de los m\u00e1s conocidos autorretratos de la artista frida kahlo.  el s\u00edmbolo se entiende en este trabajo como un objeto cortado en dos.Dos personas se quedan con cada una de las partes.Estas al acercarlas m\u00e1s tarde, les recuerda sus lazos de hospitalidad , sus deudas o su amistad.  todo s\u00edmbolo conlleva su parte de signo roto.Inmiscuirse en \u00e9l es desentra\u00f1ar y unir lo que estaba separado o tomar aquello que estaba unijdo y romperlo para descifrar or\u00edgenes olvidados.As\u00ed se encuentran situaciones inesperadas y soluciones sorprendentes.  se seleccionaron veinte de los autorretratos de frida, analizado sus elementos constituyentes, buscando una relaci\u00f3n entre su obra y su vida .El trabajo es de naturaleza cualitativa y cuantitativa,buscando de forma descriptiva el profundizar en el sentido simb\u00f3lico de su trabajo.  cuando las mujeres artistas del siglo xx el tema de su propia imagen , plantean las posibilidad de existir independientemente de la mirada masculina.Creando y forjando una imagen libre respecto de la mirada masculina, emancipada de su condici\u00f3n er\u00f3tica.Fida luch\u00f3 por conseguir una nueva simbolog\u00eda , de lo que significa ser mujer , desde la mirada de s\u00ed misma.  el significado de la obra de kahlo es revolucionario.Su pintura atenta contra la ideolog\u00eda dominante y contra la tradicci\u00f3n del silencio que envuelve al mundo femenino.Su slogan
