Azucena <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Esta investigaci\u00f3n se centra en destacar que la colecci\u00f3n nova novorum (1924-1935)de la revista de occidente, se ide\u00f3 para mostrar que determinados prosistas estaban sobre la pista de c\u00f3mo terminar con la crisis de la novela decimon\u00f3nica , y por lo tanto, que un nuevo tipo de prosa estaba en marcha.Una prosa que no recurr\u00eda a aquellos elementos narrativos que hab\u00edan llevado al g\u00e9nero a un callej\u00f3n sin salida.  la prosa del arte nuevo se presenta como un producto creativo intranscendente y juvenil , que pone en juego diversos recursos narrativos minusvalorados por la est\u00e9tica realista como son el predominio de  una estructura formal, la fragmentaci\u00f3n del argumento e incluso la ausencia de \u00e9ste, la supremac\u00eda de la imagen y de la met\u00e1fora , la alteraci\u00f3n de la realidad o la desautomatizaci\u00f3n de los procesos que hacen a la obra reflejo de la realidad.  de los tres cap\u00edtulos de que consta este trabajo , el primero estudia los proleg\u00f3menos del arte nuevo a partir de la b\u00fasqueda de los referentes te\u00f3ricos y pr\u00e1cticos que anticiparon algunas de sus propuestas.El segundo cap\u00edtulo revisa la g\u00e9nesis de esta prosa desde la perspectiva est\u00e9tica y desde su aplicaci\u00f3n pr\u00e1ctica.El tercer cap\u00edtulo estudia la colecci\u00f3n nova novorum desde dos vertices , desde la recepci\u00f3n cr\u00edtica contempor\u00e1nea y desde las aportaciones te\u00f3ricas y pr\u00e1cticas que las obras y sus autores (p.Salinas ,b.
