El clonaje del adnc derivado del arnm que codifica la prote\u00edna agagdsl, mostr\u00f3 que la prote\u00edna pertenece a la familia de lipasas de tipo ii o lipasas gdsl. La expresi\u00f3n de dicho arnm es exclusiva de la zona basal hojas j\u00f3venes de la planta (30-35 cm). Experimentos de inmunocitolocalizaci\u00f3n demostraron que agagdsl se encuentra localizada en la capa de c\u00e9lulas epid\u00e9rmicas inmediatamente por debajo de la cut\u00edcula vegetal y adem\u00e1s su localizaci\u00f3n en las zonas de crecimiento m\u00e1s activo de la hoja se correlaciona de manera positiva con el aumento de componentes cuticulares (cutina, ceras y cut\u00e1n) en dichas zonas. La expresi\u00f3n de esta prote\u00edna de manera heter\u00f3loga en e.Coli no permiti\u00f3 obtener dicha prote\u00edna en su forma activa tras varios experimentos de
