Cuando la concentraci\u00f3n de dichos iones es baja, los m\u00e9todos convencionales para su eliminaci\u00f3n (precipitaci\u00f3n, extracci\u00f3n l\u00edquido-l\u00edquido, adsorci\u00f3n, etc.) Pueden presentar limitaciones t\u00e9cnicas o econ\u00f3micas. En este sentido, la biosorci\u00f3n con materiales naturales renovables de bajo coste ha demostrado ser una alternativa viable t\u00e9cnicamente.  en este trabajo se estudia la capacidad que presenta las hojas muertas de posidonia oceanica (material natural renovable de bajo coste) para adsorber los iones cd, zn y cr presentes en disoluciones acuosas. Tras recoger el material en las playas de la costa murciana, el mismo se someti\u00f3 a diversos tratamientos para obtener materiales que podr\u00edan mejorar la capacidad de adsorci\u00f3n del material original. Se caracterizaron los bisorbentes mediante an\u00e1lisis elemental y espectroscop\u00eda de infrarrojo con transformada de fourier. esta t\u00e9cnica puso de manifiesto la presencia de grupos activos superficiales (carboxilo, hidroxilo, etc) que podr\u00edan ser responsables de la adsorci\u00f3n.  se comprob\u00f3 que el tama\u00f1o de part\u00edcula del biosorbente no influ\u00eda apreciablemente sobre la capacidad de adsorci\u00f3n del s\u00f3lido. Se apreci\u00f3 que el ph es un par\u00e1metro que afecta notablemente la capacidad de adsorci\u00f3n en todos los casos estudiados. Al aumentar el ph en el rango 2-6 aumenta la capacidad de adsorci\u00f3n.  la din\u00e1mica de adsorci\u00f3n de los iones cd2+ y zn2+ por los s\u00f3lidos adsorbentes es r\u00e1pida, complet\u00e1ndose el proceso en 20-30 minutos. Cuando la concentraci\u00f3n de cr3+ en la disoluci\u00f3n es baja (20 mg\/l), la adsorci\u00f3n se produce tambi\u00e9n r\u00e1pidamente. Los datos cin\u00e9ticos se han ajustado a diferentes modelos (primer orden reversible, pseudo segundo orden, elovich y difusi\u00f3n intraparticular), encontr\u00e1ndose que los de primer orden
