Mercedes <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>La presente tesis versa sobre el conjunto de edificios que componian el hospital general de Valencia, estudiados desde el punto de vista historico-artistico y analizados en el contexto de la arquitectura Valenciana de su tiempo, siglos xv-xvi.En la primera parte, se establece una cronolog\u00eda de las diversas etapas en las que se construyeron las edificaciones, se establece la fecha de 1494 para la introduccion de la tipolog\u00eda cruciforme del hospital Valenciano y se analizan las diversas dependencias construidas a lo largo del siglo xvi, incidiendo en las tipolog\u00edas, materiales, tecnicas, elementos arquitectonicos&#8230; En la segunda parte, se presentan monografias de los artifices que trabajaron en el hospital, arquitectos, canteros, maestros de obra, carpinteros fundamentalmente, asi como pintores y plateros. Se analiza sus trayectorias profesionales y su labor tanto en el hospital como en otras muchas obras de la ciudad de Valencia en el siglo xvi.
