La narrativa caballeresca espiritual del siglo xvi\u00bb, constituye un acercamiento a un grupo de obras escritas en la segunda mitad del siglo xvi, pocas veces antes estudiadas de forma sistem\u00e1tica por la cr\u00edtica, y que la tradici\u00f3n hab\u00eda denominado \u00ablibros de caballer\u00edas a lo divino\u00bb. La investigaci\u00f3n se articula en tres apartados: 1. La propuesta de estudio de las obras bajo el marbete gen\u00e9rico \u00abnarrativa caballeresca espiritual del siglo xvi\u00bb, m\u00e1s acorde con la realidad textual de las obras, apoyada en el an\u00e1lisis de cada uno de los textos, su caracterizaci\u00f3n gen\u00e9rica y las relaciones que establecen, por un lado, con distintas tradiciones literarias anteriores, y por otro, con los libros de caballer\u00edas castellanos del siglo xvi; 2. La edici\u00f3n cr\u00edtica de la obra que la cr\u00edtica decimon\u00f3nica hab\u00eda considerado la m\u00e1s representativa de estas lecturas, la titulada libro de cavaller\u00eda celestial del pie de la rosa fragante, (Valencia, c. 1552-1554) a partir del ejemplar \u00fanico conservado en la biblioteca braidense de mil\u00e1n; 3) la elaboraci\u00f3n de un cat\u00e1logo descriptivo de la narrativa caballeresca del s.
