El primer objetivo de la memoria ha sido generalizar el concepto de curvaturas totales en subvariedades compactas inmersas en el espacio euclideo complejo o en el espacio proyectivo complejo haciendo uso de esta tecnica. En la interpretacion local de estas curvaturas surgen unos terminos que aparecen tambien en la formula del volumen del tubo alrededor de la subvariedad. Este hecho motivo que estudiasemos tubos en espacios simetricos compactos. En la ultima parte de la memoria se aplican formulas de geometria integral para obtener propiedades de estimadores que se utilizan en estereolog\u00eda, rama que se aplica a multitud de disciplinas,
