Se ha realizado, en primer lugar, un resumen hist\u00f3rico de los principales modelos de crecimiento, centr\u00e1ndonos en algunos de los procesos estoc\u00e1sticos que existen asociados a las principales curvas de crecimiento (cap\u00edtulo 1). A continuaci\u00f3n se ha trabajado la obtenci\u00f3n del nuevo proceso que proponemos as\u00ed como el estudio de sus principales caracter\u00edsticas (cap\u00edtulo 2)., Para pasar a plantear la estimaci\u00f3n del modelo proponiendo distintos m\u00e9todos alternativos para la obtenci\u00f3n de los estimadores debido a las dificultades que se plantean. Tambi\u00e9n se incluye un estudio del problema de tiempo de primer paso paso a trav\u00e9s de barreras y un estudio del problema del tiempo en que se produce la inflexi\u00f3n en el modelo (cap\u00edtulo 3). Finalmente, se aplican los resultados obtenidos  a lo largo de la memoria a datos reales. en particular se ajusta un modelo del tipo propuesto a unos datos presentados previamente para motivar la introducci\u00f3n del nuevo proceso mostrando as\u00ed la utilidad de \u00e9ste. Tambi\u00e9n se propone una estrategia que permite encontrar agrupaciones con patrones de comportamiento similares (cap\u00edtulo 4).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis
