Sin embargo, el aprendizaje de las matem\u00e1ticas est\u00e1 condicionado por otros factores como, por ejemplo, los m\u00e9todos de ense\u00f1anza, formas de evaluaci\u00f3n, etc. Pero, es el dominio afectivo el que est\u00e1 adquiriendo el protagonismo en este campo. De manera que, son las actitudes, las emociones y las creencias las que m\u00e1s influyen en el fracaso y bajo rendimiento en esta materia. El objetivo central de esta tesis es analizar en una muestra de estudiantes espa\u00f1oles y brasile\u00f1os de educaci\u00f3n primaria y secundaria las actitudes hacia las matem\u00e1ticas evaluadas mediante una adapataci\u00f3n del inventario de actitudes hacia las matem\u00e1ticas (iam) de fennema. Los resultados indican que la actitud es cada vez m\u00e1s negativa a medida que se asciende en los cursos acad\u00e9micos, el inter\u00e9s tambien disminuye y no se aprecia la utilidad de las matem\u00e1ticas de cara al futuro.
