Concretamente, se describe la s\u00edntesis asim\u00e9trica de sistemas carboc\u00edclicos fusionados 8-5, 8-6 y 8-7 a partir de complejos alcoxi(alquenil)carbeno de fischer y enolatos de cetonas enantiom\u00e9ricamente puros.  en el cap\u00edtulo 2 se describe una aproximaci\u00f3n catal\u00edtica dirigida a la s\u00edntesis de dichos carbociclos de ocho eslabones. Para ello se desarrollan varias estrategias sint\u00e9ticas basadas en una reacci\u00f3n tandem cicloisomerizaci\u00f3n-ciclopropanaci\u00f3n de derivados al\u00edlicos del 4-pentin-1-ol, catalizada por complejos w(co)5\u00c2\u00b7l. por otro lado, se estudia la reacci\u00f3n de cicloisomerizaci\u00f3n 6-endo\/5-exo de  -alquinoles catalizada por complejos w(co)5\u00c2\u00b7l y se describe la influencia de la estructura del alquinol en la regioselectividad de la reacci\u00f3n.  el estudio de la reacci\u00f3n de cicloisomerizaci\u00f3n de  -alquinoles tambi\u00e9n se lleva a cabo desde el punto de vista te\u00f3rico, considerando la influencia de la estructura del alquinol y de las condiciones de reacci\u00f3n en la regioselectividad del proceso.
