Son eliminados del medio mediante disgregaci\u00f3n f\u00edsica, sedimentaci\u00f3n diferencial y descomposici\u00f3n biol\u00f3gica, y participan en el recambio, descomposici\u00f3n y sedimentaci\u00f3n de la materia org\u00e1nica en el mar. La descomposici\u00f3n procari\u00f3tica comprende respiraci\u00f3n, producci\u00f3n de biomasa y\/o solubilizaci\u00f3n del agregado. los dos h\u00e1bitats, agregado y fase l\u00edquida, presentan dos comunidades procari\u00f3ticas, de vida libre y adherida, con diferencias morfol\u00f3gicas, fisiol\u00f3gicas y taxon\u00f3micas.  el objetivo de este trabajo es analizar la descomposici\u00f3n procari\u00f3tica de agregados org\u00e1nicos marinos.  se estudia en procariotas adheridos y de vida libre el ataque primario hidrol\u00edtico, la incorporaci\u00f3n de materia org\u00e1nica liberada y la producci\u00f3n de biomasa. Se analizan tres tipos de agregados: agregados marinos de aguas oligotr\u00f3ficas y dos tipos de agregados formados en el laboratorio, agregados naturales y fitoplanct\u00f3nicos. Los agregados fitoplanct\u00f3nicos, con abundantes compuestos f\u00e1cilmente utilizables, simulan a los formados durante el crecimiento masivo fitoplanct\u00f3nico. Los naturales simulan a gregados empobrecidos y m\u00e1s refractarios formados por agregaci\u00f3n de diferentes part\u00edculas marinas.  ambos procariotas presentan diferencias tanto en la hidr\u00f3lisis como en la toma de compuestos org\u00e1nicos. El de vida libre expresa enzimas hidrol\u00edticos y sistemas de transporte con mayor afinidad debido a la escasez de nutrientes. estas diferencias explicar\u00edan las cin\u00e9ticas multif\u00e1sicas observadas en los sistemas marinos. En agregados fitoplanct\u00f3nicos el procariota obtiene ventaja de su adherencia mediante superior superior hidr\u00f3lisis, mientras en agregados naturales, m\u00e1s pobres, no se observan
