El problema de control ha surgido en aplicaciones como la fase de preparaci\u00f3n del proceso de extracci\u00f3n de aceite de oliva o una gran cantidad de procesos industriales que funcionan por lotes (qu\u00edmicos, polimerizaci\u00f3n, microelectr\u00f3nica, producci\u00f3n de medicamentos, etc.). Para conseguir mejorar en el control de estos procesos, se han dise\u00f1ado controladores \u00f3ptimos, basados en la aplicaci\u00f3n de la metodolog\u00eda del control predictivo basado en modelo en ambos casos. el control de procesos sometidos a perturbaciones peri\u00f3dicas se puede abordar, entre otras t\u00e9cnicas, mediante un control impc al cual se le a\u00f1ade un bloque de predicci\u00f3n \u00f3ptima  de las perturbaciones. En el caso delos procesos por lotes se ha incorporado al controlador la capacidad de aprendizaje de lotes anteriores usando informaci\u00f3n pasada. los controladores propuestos, se han probado en simulaci\u00f3n, lineal y no lineal, as\u00ed como en aplicaciones reales: una planta de laboratorio y la almazara.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
