Para ello se ha propuesto el router-assistant protocol (rap), un protocolo de control que permite a los asistentes configurar el plano de datos del router, recibir eventos, as\u00ed como desviar paquetes de se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n y flujos de datos para su procesamiento en los asistentes.  en cuanto al reparto de carga en el cluster de asistentes, este trabajo propone dos algoritmos de fast robust hashing que permiten la asignaci\u00f3n equitativa y persistente de flujos a asistentes, y son lo suficientemente eficientes para ser implementados en el plano de datos de un router comercial. adem\u00e1s, se especifica el extensible service discovery framework (xsdf), un marco de trabajo sencillo y escalable, que integra en un \u00fanico proceso el descubrimiento de servicios y el reparto
