Se distribuyen abundantemente a lo largo y ancho  de los distintos phyla. Actualmente se conocen numerosos procesos moleculares por los cuales se regula la se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n de dichos receptores: potenci\u00e1ndose, atenu\u00e1ndose o incluso permut\u00e1ndose una primera se\u00f1al intracelular en otra distinta. Las grks (quinasas de receptores acoplados a prote\u00ednas g) son art\u00edfices cruciales de esta compleja regulaci\u00f3n, en tanto en cuanto fosforilan al receptor, que es entonces reconocido por las prote\u00ednas desacoplantes arrestinas. \u00e9stas son las encargadas de traer, al entorno del receptor, a numerosos componentes celulares que determinar\u00e1n, en \u00faltimo t\u00e9rmino, el destino del receptor: su secuestro en el interior de la c\u00e9lula, su degradaci\u00f3n o bien su reciclaje.  a luz de las novedosas funciones atribuidas en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os a las grks y a las prote\u00ednas arrestinas, nos propusimos ahondar en los mecanismos de control de la funcionalidad de grks.  los resultados obtenidos en este trabajo de investigaci\u00f3n titulado: \u00abinteractoma de grks: nuevas relaciones funcionales con mapks\u00bb ampl\u00edan las interacciones funcionales descritas para las quinasas de los receptores acoplados a prote\u00ednas g (grks) con otras prote\u00ednas se\u00f1alizadoras, ayudando a comprender mejor la compleja regulaci\u00f3n a la que se ven sometidas; al tiempo que desvelan nuevas funciones de esta familia de quinasas en la propagaci\u00f3n de se\u00f1ales intracelulares.  en particular hemos querido averiguar, en primer lugar, si la retroalimentaci\u00f3n negativa que erk ejerce sobre grk2 se produce en otras quinasas de la familia. as\u00ed, nuestro primer objetivo ha sido el estudio de las posibles interrelaciones funcionales entre otros miembros de la familia de quinasas de receptores acoplados a prote\u00ednas g y las mapks erk.
