El gran numero de espectros a clasificar llev\u00f3 a realizar el proceso de forma autom\u00e1tica utilizando redes neuronales artificiales. Esto nos permite realizar la clasificaci\u00f3n con precisiones de cerca de dos subtipos espectrales y con ella determinar distancias con incertidumbres de entre el 20 y 30%.  Esto representa un gran avance si se toma en consideraci\u00f3n que las diferentes determinaciones de distancia, que actualmente se encuentran en la literatura  para un mismo objeto, pueden variar por
