Gram es un m\u00e9todo que presenta unas propiedades muy atractivas: (i) solo es necesaria una muestra de calibraci\u00f3n. (Ii) no es necesario tener medidas selectivas, reduciendo de forma considerable los tiempos de separaci\u00f3n. No obtante, gram tiene una serie de limitaciones que hacen que no se aplique de mnera rutinaria en los laboratorios de an\u00e1lisis. para poder aplicar gram, se han de cumplir unos requisitos matem\u00e1ticos: (a) la respuesta obtenida se puede descomponer como suma de respuestas debidas a los distintos analitos y (b) la respuesta de un analito tiene que ser proporcional en las distintas muestras.
