Igualmente se estudia la importancia de su \u00abaventura editorial\u00bb en horizonte, as\u00ed como su silencio po\u00e9tico mediada la d\u00e9cada de los veinte.  en este sentido se recogen cronol\u00f3gicamente todas las colaboraciones en prensa del poeta, aportando alg\u00fan texto hasta ahora desconocido como el de su colaboraci\u00f3n el la revista jeune europe detzara.  tambi\u00e9n se repasa la complicada trayectoria de garf\u00edas durante su exilio mexicano ordenando y clarificando las noticias que se ten\u00edan sobre ella; se confirma alguno de sus autores plat\u00f3nicos y se rescatan algunas noticias sobre su producci\u00f3n como poeta y conferenciante.  el estudio incide adem\u00e1s en las denominadas \u00abobras in\u00e9ditas\u00bb de garf\u00edas, repasando las mismas, de las cuales s\u00f3lo una podr\u00eda calificarse como tal. el resto son obras en  proyecto que el poeta no lleg\u00f3 a concluir, o perdidas.  el segundo lugar se recorre la obra del autor con el objeto de fijar su po\u00e9tica, considerando tanto las manifestaciones expl\u00edcitas -que se recogen en un anexo- como las impl\u00edcitas en el corpus po\u00e9tico. En este sentido, del estudio se desprende que la obra de garf\u00edas tiene desde sus inicios una coherencia formal, que se manifiesta en el uso reiterado de formas propias de la poes\u00eda popular, y tem\u00e1tica. \u00e9sta se centra, en un profundo sentimiento de soledad que lleva al poeta a entregarse en un doble compromiso -\u00e9tico y est\u00e9tico- al hombre y a la palabra. Precisamente ese compromiso \u00e9tico hizo a garf\u00edas buscar el contacto directo con el hombre, lo que explicar\u00eda \u00abla oralidad\u00bb, otra de las caracter\u00edsticas de su poes\u00eda.
