<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>La presente tesis doctoral aborda el tema del an\u00e1lisis del comportamiento de las instalaciones fotovoltaicas con el fin de determinar si su dise\u00f1o es \u00f3ptimo o no.  afirmar que una instalaci\u00f3n tiene un dise\u00f1o \u00f3ptimo en funci\u00f3n de los \u00edndices com\u00fanmente utilizados no es una tarea f\u00e1cil, pues en todos ellos se considera la producci\u00f3n energ\u00e9tica final y \u00e9sta est\u00e1 influenciada por las condiciones locales y la ubicaci\u00f3n de la instalaci\u00f3n.   en esta tesis se propone un nuevo \u00edndice de comparaci\u00f3n relatico, basado en las estimaciones de la producci\u00f3n final mediante simuladores software, de acceso p\u00fablico.  el \u00edndice propuesto se convierte en un indicador objetivo, pues considera como referencia a la producci\u00f3n \u00f3ptima que para cada ubicaci\u00f3n podr\u00eda conseguirse tomando en consideraci\u00f3n las limitaciones arquitect\u00f3nicas como restricciones al dise\u00f1o as\u00ed como las variables meteorol\u00f3gicas locales.  en el desarrollo de esta tesis se propone una metodolog\u00eda sistem\u00e1tica original que permite determinar los \u00edndices propuestos a trav\u00e9s de las simulaciones realizadas en las condiciones  que se definen en el mismo m\u00e9todo propuesto.  finalmente, del an\u00e1lisis del comportamiento y dise\u00f1o de una instalaci\u00f3n fotovoltaica se desprenden propuestas de  mejora al dise\u00f1o inicial que al no requerir medidas de campo, pueden optimizarse los dise\u00f1os recogidos en un
