En esta tesis se presenta aveces metodol\u00f3gicos y nuevos m\u00e9todos estad\u00edsticos para evaluar terapias antihipertensivas empleando monitorizaci\u00f3n ambulatoria de presi\u00f3n arterial (mapa).  se describe un nuevo \u00edndice vector y m\u00e9todo gr\u00e1fico que puede ser utilizado para evaluar estad\u00edsticamente la reducci\u00f3n, duraci\u00f3n y homogeneidad (rdh) de terapias antihipertensivas a lo largo de las 24 horas empleando mapa. adem\u00e1s, el rdh puede ser utilizado para evaluar la eficacia de f\u00e1rmacos antihipertensivos.  en este trabajo se define el rdh para individuos y poblaciones, se demuestran sus ventajas sobre los \u00edndices escalares cl\u00e1sicos como una herramienta para evaluar tratamientos antihipertensivos en el contexto de cronoterapia y se
