Tras desarrollar esta primera parte de la fundamentaci\u00f3n te\u00f3rica se completa con el an\u00e1lisis del fen\u00f3meno central de esta investigaci\u00f3n: la turnicidad. Desde un planteamiento que combina las perspectivas cronobiol\u00f3gica y la psicosocial, la segunda parte del trabajo analiza los aspectos variables relacionados con la adaptaci\u00f3n al sistema de trabajo a turnos, as\u00ed como los efectos, alteraciones y disfunciones ocasionadas por este tipo de organizaci\u00f3n temporal en los agentes de la polic\u00eda local de oviedo. Uno de los aspectos fundamentales de la investigaci\u00f3n ha sido la complementaci\u00f3n e integraci\u00f3n metodol\u00f3gica, aplicando la bateria ssi (standard shiftwork index) a una muestra representativa de trabajos y una serie de entrevistas semiestructuradas. Los principales resultados de la investigaci\u00f3n muestran que el trabajo desarrollado por los agentes de la polic\u00eda local, basado fundamentalmente en condiciones de turnicidad, afecta negativamente a la salud de dicho colectivo en los tres \u00e1mbitos, f\u00edsico, ps\u00edquico y social<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
