Este dise\u00f1o se realiza por un experto humano mediante la t\u00e9cnica de prueba y error.  al automatizar el dise\u00f1o de la topolog\u00eda, se considera el proceso como una b\u00fasqueda entre todas las topolog\u00edas posibles, siendo los algoritmos gen\u00e9ticos una herramienta adecuada para realizarla, y la informaci\u00f3n contenida en el genotipo y como \u00e9sta es codificada (el esquema de codificaci\u00f3n) una cuesti\u00f3n determinante.  en esta tesis se proponen dos esquemas de codificaci\u00f3n indirectos, uno basado en la idea de aut\u00f3matas celulares y otro basado en gram\u00e1ticas bidimensionales.Se basan en los que el cromosoma no contiene la topolog\u00eda en s\u00ed, sino s\u00f3lo la informaci\u00f3n necesaria para, a trav\u00e9s de un proceso de expansi\u00f3n, obtener la topolog\u00eda de la red. Estas codificaciones se proponen con el objetivo de mejorar la capacidad generativa y optimizar el proceso de b\u00fasqueda.  se analiza la capacidad generativa de ambos esquemas de codificaci\u00f3n propuestos, as\u00ed como el proceso evolutivo al emplearlos, sobre un conjunto de dominios de aplicaci\u00f3n para la red de neuronas artificial, comparando ambos esquemas indirectos entre s\u00ed, y
