A traves de sus dialogos y, sobre todo, de sus epistolas morales califica los diferentes tipos de desplazamientos: los viajes voluntarios y frecuentes son negativos porque se convierten en un obstaculo para alcanzar la virtud; los cambios forzosos de lugar, como el destierro, no benefician ni perjudican a un espiritu recto; los cortos paseos a pie o en litera son positivos en tanto que confieren un descanso al alma y al cuerpo. Frente a los esteriles viajes por tierras y mares desconocidos, seneca propone un itinerario mas provechoso que garantiza la tranquilidad y la felicidad:  el camino de la filosofia. Este camino tiene dos etapas.  la primera lleva de la vida activa al otium; la segunda conduce definitivamente hacia la virtud y la libertad, el summum bonum.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
