El impacto cl\u00ednico del abuso de los antimicrobianos es extensamente conocido en bacterias y es importante en levaduras del genero candida. Aunque actualmente la resistencia en aspergillus es un fen\u00f3meno infrecuente, la profilaxis y las terapias emp\u00edricas con inhibidores de las 14 alfa esterol demetilasas asociadas a su uso en agricultura, podr\u00eda facilitar el desarrollo de resistencias secundarias a estos antif\u00fangicos.     por otro lado, en aspergillus spp., Existen dos genes (cyp51a y cyp51b) que codifican distintos enzimas 14-alfa esterol demetilasas. Este hecho, cambia totalmente el estudio de la resistencia a los antif\u00fangicos az\u00f3licos ya que estos tendr\u00edan dos diana potenciales. Los mecanismos de resistencia de aspergillus no se han analizado como en el caso de candida, por lo que si se produjera un aumento de las resistencias no dispondr\u00edamos de la base te\u00f3rica para desarrollar herramientas de detecci\u00f3n o terapias eficaces frente a los organismos resistentes. Actualmente, se ha estudiado estructuralmente el enzima cyp51a de a.Fumigatus utilizando modelos matem\u00e1ticos pero nunca se realiz\u00f3 el estudio funcional de ambos enzimas con el fin de determinar su actividad individual en a.Fumigatus.     por estas razones, en este trabajo:     1,- se estudiaron los mecanismos moleculares de resistencia a los antif\u00fangicos az\u00f3licos en una colecci\u00f3n de aislamientos cl\u00ednicos de a.Fumigatus, describi\u00e9ndose dos mecanismos nuevos de resistencia a los azoles.     2,- se obtuvieron mutantes defectivos en cada uno de los enzimas individuales y mutantes con distintas mutaciones en el gen cyp51a, estableci\u00e9ndose la relaci\u00f3n del enzima cyp51a con la resistencia a los antif\u00fangicos az\u00f3licos y la funci\u00f3n
