Como metales objetivo se han seleccionado dos de diferentes propiedades y caracter\u00edsticas toxicol\u00f3gicas: cobre y mercurio. En esta tesis doctoral se han puesto a punto procedimientos de an\u00e1lisis r\u00e1pidos para estos iones met\u00e1licos, que son f\u00e1ciles de usar, de bajo costo y que no contaminan el medio.  para el desarrollo de estos m\u00e9todos r\u00e1pidos de an\u00e1lisis se emplearon diferentes esquemas de sensado basados en complejaci\u00f3n mediante reactivos cromog\u00e9nicos convencionales, en ion\u00f3foros o en reacciones diferentes de la de complejaci\u00f3n y posterior transducci\u00f3n por absorci\u00f3n de radiaci\u00f3n o emisi\u00f3n luminiscente. las etapas de
