Para la consecuci\u00f3n de este objetivo se ha definido una metodolog\u00eda de trabajo que establece diferentes fases.  la primera fase conlleva una divisi\u00f3n en bloques del sistema que permite detectar qu\u00e9 elementos de los que componen el acceso radio influyen en mayor medida en las prestaciones que perciben los usuarios. En este sentido, es importante indicar que la divisi\u00f3n llevada a cabo tiene en cuenta elementos e interfaces que la mayor parte de los estudios globales del sistema umts no consideran.  en una segunda fase se procede a la realizaci\u00f3n o selecci\u00f3n de modelos del comportamiento de cada uno de los elementos obtenidos en la fase anterior. cabe destacar que en este modelado se ha prestado especial atenci\u00f3n a la generaci\u00f3n de tr\u00e1fico. Para ello, se ha incluido un modelo de la aplicaci\u00f3n web que imita el comportamiento de los usuarios y que captura las caracter\u00edsticas estad\u00edsticas de este tr\u00e1fico, y un modelo computacional completo de todos los mecanismos soportados por el protocolo tcp, que recoge la interacci\u00f3n de este protocolo con el estado de la red. Finalmente, estos modelos se integran en un marco de trabajo sobre el que se desarrolla una nueva metodolog\u00eda de evaluaci\u00f3n y an\u00e1lisis cuya aportaci\u00f3n respecto a otras metodolog\u00edas planteadas es que considera las caracter\u00edsticas estad\u00edsticas de los modelos que incorpora.  la metodolog\u00eda de evaluaci\u00f3n y an\u00e1lisis desarrollada ha permitido evaluar la interacci\u00f3n entre la capa de transporte y enlace cuando est\u00e1n implicadas en gran n\u00famero de conexiones generadas seg\u00fan el patr\u00f3n de tr\u00e1fico de la aplicaci\u00f3n web. Para ello, se proponen los diagramas isopercentibles, que permiten de manera muy intuitiva el estudio del impacto en las prestaciones de los usuarios web de distintas configuraciones de la
