Se realiza un trabajo de campo consistente en el an\u00e1lisis de los procesos de recuperaci\u00f3n y uso de informaci\u00f3n exterior utilizando por las empresas de la comunidad aut\u00f3noma del pa\u00eds vasco.     con las conclusiones extra\u00eddas en el primer trabajo de campo se elaboran las especificaciones que un modelo de vigilancia tecnol\u00f3gica e inteligencia competitiva deber\u00eda contener para ser implementado con \u00e9xito en una empresa de la capv. Por tanto, se elabora un modelo denominado modelex que posibilita la implantaci\u00f3n sencilla de un sistema de inteligencia competitiva.     el objetivo de modelex es modelizar el proceso de recuperaci\u00f3n de la informaci\u00f3n exterior para su utilizaci\u00f3n en la toma de decisiones estrat\u00e9gicas.     en contraste del modelo desarrollado se realiza en una empresa de la muestra con especificaciones ideales donde se procede a implantar el modelo propuesto y para la cual se acomete la etapa de inteligencia del modelo, realizando mapas tecnol\u00f3gicos para el campo de la metrolog\u00eda dimensional.     con las conclusiones del contraste se elabora el modelo final de vigilancia e inteligencia empresarial modelex. A trav\u00e9s de su implantaci\u00f3n se pretende estimular el proceso de innovaci\u00f3n empresarial facilitando el proceso de recuperaci\u00f3n y tratamiento de la informaci\u00f3n
