En primer lugar, hemos comprobado que las prote\u00ednas de la cubierta copi se distribuyen en fracciones de membranas y citosol en c\u00e9lulas vegetales y constituyen un complejo citos\u00f3lico an\u00e1logo al coat\u00f3mero de c\u00e9lulas animales, que se recluta a membranas como una \u00fanica unidad. El coat\u00f3mero de c\u00e9lulas vegetales se une de forma espec\u00edfica a motivos de dilisina presentes en la posici\u00f3n -3,-4 respecto del extremo carboxi-terminal de prote\u00ednas de membrana de tipo i, que act\u00faan como se\u00f1ales de retenci\u00f3n en el ret\u00edculo endoplasm\u00e1tico tanto en c\u00e9lulas animales como en levaduras y en c\u00e9lulas vegetales. Un motivo de difenilalanina en posici\u00f3n -7,-8 respecto del extremo carboxi-terminal act\u00faa cooperativamente con el motivo de dilisina en el reclutado del coat\u00f3mero de c\u00e9lulas vegetales. en c\u00e9lulas vegetales la uni\u00f3n del coat\u00f3mero a membranas est\u00e1 mediada por el factor de ribosilaci\u00f3n del adp (arf1) en su forma gtp. As\u00ed mismo, arf1 es reclutado por la cola citos\u00f3lica de prote\u00ednas de la familia p24 en su forma gdp, gracias a motivos de dilisina y difenilalanina actuando de forma cooperativa.  todas las prote\u00ednas de la familia p24 de c\u00e9lulas vegetales contienen motivos de difenilalanina y de dilisina que act\u00faan cooperativamente para el reclutado eficiente del coat\u00f3mero y de arf1, sugiriendo que dichas prote\u00ednas son tambi\u00e9n empaquetadas eficientemente en ves\u00edculas recubiertas de copi en c\u00e9lulas vegetales. El reclutamiento de arf1 a las membranas podr\u00eda ocurrir mediante una interacci\u00f3n directa entre arf1-gdp y las colas citos\u00f3licas de las prote\u00ednas p24. En esta interacci\u00f3n son esenciales los motivos de dilisina y difenilalanina.
