Entre estos reguladores, destaca el papel de las poliaminas, y, por consiguiente, el de las enzimas implicadas en su bios\u00edntesis, que tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1n presentes en las algas.  la complejidad de los procesos reproductivos en las algas rojas como grateloupia, y en particular, durante el desarrollo del carpoesporofito presuponen la influencia de las polaiminas y actividades enzim\u00e1ticas durante el desarrollo del mismo, siendo necesario el empleo de las t\u00e9cnicas de cromatograf\u00eda, determinaci\u00f3n de actividades enzim\u00e1ticas, cultivos in vitro, microscop\u00eda y caracterizaci\u00f3n enzim\u00e1ticas, para hacer el seguimiento de este proceso.  los resultados obtenidos indican que los cambios en los niveles end\u00f3genos de las poliaminas influencian la maduraci\u00f3n del cistocarpo, con un efecto inductor constatado por parte de la espermina. La actividad enzim\u00e1tica, por su parte, se muestra aparentemente asociada a eventos de pre-fertilizaci\u00f3n, mientras que los niveles end\u00f3genos influyen en los eventos post-fertilizaci\u00f3n, pudiendo existir un mecanismo de regulaci\u00f3n de feedback, provocado por las poliaminas sobre la actividad enzim\u00e1tica. En definitiva, la carpoesporog\u00e9nesis en el alga grateloupia responde a complejos mecanismos de regulaci\u00f3n de los niveles de poliaminas y de las actividades enzim\u00e1ticas implicadas en su
