Es una t\u00e9cnica basada en la traslaci\u00f3n de los datos a un espacio de mayor dimensi\u00f3n que el original mediante el empleo de una funci\u00f3n n\u00facleo y la b\u00fasqueda de un hiperplano separador en el nuevo espacio. Elegir la funci\u00f3n n\u00facleo que define el nuevo espacio es una cuesti\u00f3n sin resolver. En esta tesis abordamos la combinaci\u00f3n de una colecci\u00f3n de funciones n\u00facleo mediante el empleo de las etiquetas de clase. Los esquemas de combinaci\u00f3n que proponemos se basan en la cuantificaci\u00f3n de la diferencia de informaci\u00f3n entre n\u00facleos y en el concepto de combinaci\u00f3n funcional de n\u00facleos. En ocasiones la matriz construida pierde ciertas propiedades deseables de toda matriz n\u00facleo. Proponemos m\u00e9todos para la transformaci\u00f3n de matrices que no verifiquen estas propiedades. Nuestras t\u00e9cnicas se basan en la aproximaci\u00f3n de una matriz n\u00facleo a otra que no lo sea, sin que la primera pierda la propiedad de ser semidefinida positiva. proponemos el m\u00e9todo kernel procrustes, un esquema de combinaci\u00f3n de funciones n\u00facleo homog\u00e9neas, alternativo a la media de los n\u00facleos.
