Ellas pueden constituir un campo rico de investigacion, tanto por sus propias potencialidades como estrategia de ense\u00f1anza y de aprendizaje, cuanto por sus vinculaciones con otras actividades instruccionales.  informamos sobre una investigacion que:  * identifica referentes teoricos capaces de esclarecer cuales son las potencialidades y las limitaciones reales de las practicas de laboratorio, de explicar posibles causas de las expectativas y de criticas que ellas suscitan, de explicitar modelos de aprendizaje y concepciones epistemologicas que subyacen al dise\u00f1o y a la puesta en practica de los laboratorios docentes, etc.; * fundamenta y contrasta una propuesta educativa que se muestra capaz de superar diversas criticas que cabe formular a las practicas habituales
