Teresa <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Los resultados experimentales de esta tesis doctoral demuestran, que los eritrocitos aumentan la activacion y el reclutamiento plaquetarios. Este efecto, es un proceso de interaccion celula-celula, rapido y regulado bioquimicamente, no atribuible a un efecto fisico o de lisis celular, que requiere la cooperacion de plaquetas activadas y eritrocitos metabolicamente activos. En relacion a los mecanismos bioquimicos reguladores de esta interaccion celular, se ha comprobado: a) que favorece el aumento de nucleotidos de adenina (adp,atp) en el microentorno celular; b) que modula cualitativa y cuantitativamente la sintesis de eicosanoides plaquetarios, aumentando la sintesis de tromboxano a2, y c) que se genera en la interaccion celular una actividad proteolitica que contribuye al efecto protrombotico eritrocitario. Adicionalmente, se detecta un nuevo mecanismo de accion de la aspirina como farmaco antitrombotico, actuando sobre los eritrocitos, reduciendo el efecto protrombotico sobre las plaquetas de un modo dosis-dependiente.
