Sum\u00e1ndose a esa pasi\u00f3n generalizada por el mito, el poeta compuso un conjunto de m\u00e1s de veinte comedias mitol\u00f3gicas del que, por desgracia, tan s\u00f3lo conservamos ocho: \u00abadonis y venus\u00bb, \u00abel perseo\u00bb, \u00ablas mujeres sin hombres\u00bb, \u00abel laberinto de creta\u00bb, \u00abel marido m\u00e1s firme\u00bb, \u00abla bella aurora\u00bb, \u00abel vellocino de oro\u00bb y \u00abel amor enamorado\u00bb. Ese reducido corpus teatral ha sido estudiado con detalle por agust\u00edn s\u00e1nchez aguilar, quien desentra\u00f1a en su tesis doctoral las estrategias art\u00edsticas que puso en marcha lope a la hora de llevar el mito al teatro. Su conclusi\u00f3n es que lope llev\u00f3 a cabo una tarea pertinaz de reinvenci\u00f3n del mito, pues ali\u00f1\u00f3 el argumento de las f\u00e1bulas cl\u00e1sicas con una buena dosis de noveler\u00eda a fin de crear un teatro excitante para el entendimiento, atractivo para la vista e hipn\u00f3tico para el o\u00eddo<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
