Se ha ensayado la capacidad coordinante de \u00e9stos frente a iones de metales de transici\u00f3n como ni(ii), cu(ii), rh(i) o ru(ii). Mediante la comparaci\u00f3n de su capacidad coordinante con la de otros ligandos similares se han intentado establecer unas pautas de reactividad relacionadas con la medida de la cavidad
