Nuestro objetivo era por un lado evaluar la efectividad de diversos tipos de tareas(i..E. Preguntas) en la integraci\u00f3n de informaci\u00f3n de documentos m\u00faltiples, as\u00ed como aclarar los procesos mentales englobados bajo el concepto integraci\u00f3n de informaci\u00f3n.  para ello dise\u00f1amos una situaci\u00f3n de aprendizaje con tres textos m\u00faltiples y estudiantes universitarios hubieron de constestar o bien una pregunta general (experimento 1) o preguntas breves (experimento 1) o incluso preguntas muy espec\u00edficas, dirigidas \u00fanicamente a la copia de unidades aisladas de informaci\u00f3n. (Experimento 2). Adicionalmente, empleamos en un primer experimento la metodolog\u00eda de pensar en voz alta en la mitad de la muestra, con el objeto de obtener datos de ejecuci\u00f3n on-line de los sujetos y evaluar en qu\u00e9 medida la presencia del pensar en voz alta interfiere o no en los resultados de aprendizaje a partir de los textos de los estudiantes.  la presentaci\u00f3n de los textos y la contestaci\u00f3n a preguntas, en los dos experimentos de los que consta esta tesis, tuvo lugar mediante el software read&amp;answer (mart\u00ednez, 2003), que nos permite registrar en todo momento el comportamineto del estudiante en la tarea (i.E., Tiempos de lectura). con el objeto de disponer de diversas medidas de aprendizaje, dise\u00f1amos varias pruebas de aprendizaje final, que pretend\u00edan medir un aprendizaje m\u00e1s superficial o m\u00e1s profundo e integrado a partir de los textos.  los resultados de la presente tesis confirmaron el efecto predicho para cada una de las tareas dise\u00f1adas. La tarea que promovi\u00f3 un aprendizaje m\u00e1s integrado y profundo a partir de los textos fue aquella que hac\u00eda que los estudiantes revisaran un amplio conjunto de segmentos de cada uno de
