Se identifican vol\u00famenes, fuentes, costos y entregan indicadores de consumo espec\u00edfico de energ\u00eda e intensidad energ\u00e9tica, por tipos de fuentes energ\u00e9ticas, del sector celulosa en chile.  los modelos desarrollados entregan un potencial de mayor cogeneraci\u00f3n el\u00e9ctrica cercano al 50% y reflejan una inadecuada gesti\u00f3n energ\u00e9tica e incorporaci\u00f3n de tecnolog\u00eda s\u00f3lo con objetivos de aumento f\u00edsico de la producci\u00f3n, sin impactos en el consumo ni eficiencia energ\u00e9tica.  summary  based on official statistics and information obtained directly from the companies, the characteristics of energy use are presented. Volumes, sources and costs are identified and they give indicators of specific consumption of energy and energy intensity, for types of energy, of the cellulose pulp mills sector in chile.  the mathematical models developed hand over a higher electric cogeneration potential closer to the 50% and reflect an inadequate energetic management and the incorporation of technology only with the
