Elena Yubero Serrano <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Entre el 5-25% de la producci\u00f3n de fresa en espa\u00f1a se pierde debido a las infecciones producidas por pat\u00f3genos (colletotrichum spp. Botrytis cinerea, etc..). Mediante el escrutinio de una genoteca sustractiva de fresa (fragaria x ananassa c.V. Chandler) de adnc de estadio rojo frente a verde y, posteriormente, el de una genoteca gen\u00f3mica se a aislado un gen (fxaltp) que presenta similaridad con genes que codifican prote\u00ednas de transferencia de lipidos (nsltps). mediante comparaci\u00f3n de su secuencia con las presentes en las bases de datos se ha visto que esta prote\u00edna (fxaltp) es una ltp de tipo 1.Tambi\u00e9n se ha descrito expresi\u00f3n diferente seg\u00fan el tejido, si bien preferentemente en tejidos epid\u00e9rmicos. Esto \u00faltimo presenta enorme inter\u00e9s desde el punto de vista aplicado por la posibilidad de usar sus promotores para expresi\u00f3n localizada de genes de inter\u00e9s de defensa a pat\u00f3genos. La funci\u00f3n exacta in vivo de prote\u00ednas nsltps se desconoce aunque se las ha implicado en un diverso n\u00famero de procesos entre los que se encuentran procesos de defensa frente a pat\u00f3genos o, recientemente, como mol\u00e9culas mensajeras en respuesta a sa. Esta diversidad de procesos a nuestro entender parece reflejar la existencia de clases diferentes de nsltps. Se ha obtenido el patr\u00f3n de expresi\u00f3n del gen fxaltp tanto espacio-temporal (en diferentes tejidos de la planta) as\u00ed como tras la realizaci\u00f3n de tratamientos de estr\u00e9s abi\u00f3ticos (sa, aba y da\u00f1o f\u00edsico) como bi\u00f3ticos (infecci\u00f3n por el pat\u00f3geno de fresa colletotrichum acutatum) mediante rt-pcr cuantitativa a tiempo real (qrtpcr).  mediante t\u00e9cnicas de hibridaci\u00f3n in situ del gen fxaltp e inmunolocalizaci\u00f3n de la prote\u00edna fxaltp se ha comprobado que su expresi\u00f3n es espec\u00edfica de epidermis por lo que este gen ser\u00eda muy importante, en fines biotecnol\u00f3gicos, para usar su promotor y expresar genes heter\u00f3logos.
