El presente trabajo de investigaci\u00f3n forma parte de un proyecto m\u00e1s amplio que pretende dar respuesta al problema de visualizar e interactuar con grandes vol\u00famenes de datos que tienen una ordenaci\u00f3n espec\u00edfica, como los apilamientos de contenedores en una terminal mar\u00edtima. Entre los hitos a alcanzar en el proyecto destaca el dise\u00f1o e implementaci\u00f3n de un prototipo de sistema de realidad aumentada que permita acceder de forma remota a la informaci\u00f3n alfanum\u00e9rica almacenada para los contenedores. Para ello se utiliza como base de la interacci\u00f3n la informaci\u00f3n geom\u00e9trica referente a la posici\u00f3n y distribuci\u00f3n de los contenedores en la terminal. La presente tesis doctoral se enmarca en la investigaci\u00f3n realizada en el seno del proyecto para alcanzar este segundo hito. La tesis dise\u00f1a e implementa un sistema de realidad aumentada para trabajar en exteriores, permitiendo a un usuario en el patio de contenedores acceder a la informaci\u00f3n disponible para alg\u00fan contenedor espec\u00edfico seleccionado o apuntado por \u00e9l. La informaci\u00f3n asociada se encuentra en una base de datos remota que se supone accesible y que se encuentra permanentemente actualizada.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la
