En el pasteado, desde hace tiempo se conoce la posibilidad de conseguir pastas celul\u00f3sicas mediante la utilizaci\u00f3n de disolventes org\u00e1nicos libres de azufre, pero estos procesos no se han industrializado a\u00fan. En el blanqueo de las pastas se est\u00e1n implantando, desde hace no mucho tiempo, procesos libres de cloro elemental (ecf) y totalmente libres de cloro (tcf), utilizando etapas en las que se emplean enzimas, ox\u00edgeno, ozono y per\u00f3xido de hidr\u00f3geno, principalmente.  por otra parte, ante la escasez de materias primas convencionales (maderas frondosas y coniferas) se est\u00e1 estudiando la posibilidad de utilizar otras materias primas alternativas como los residuos agr\u00edcolas, muy abundantes en espa\u00f1a, donde destaca en castilla-la mancha los sarmientos de vid, cuya transformaci\u00f3n en pasta, con un rendimiento del 50%, equivaldr\u00eda a un 30% de las pastas producidas en espa\u00f1a.  en esta memoria se presentan los estudios correspondientes a la obtenci\u00f3n de pastas de saneamientos de vid utilizando etilenglicoly etanolamina (disolventes org\u00e1nicos de elevado punto de ebullici\u00f3n), as\u00ed como el proceso m\u00e1s antiguo de pasteado, como es el que utiliza sosa c\u00e1ustica, que ha recobrado inter\u00e9s por poder aplicarse en peque\u00f1as plantas industriales y no haber part\u00edcipe a los compuestos de azufre. Por otra parte, tambi\u00e9n se presenta el estudio del blanqueo  de pasta a la sosa de samientos de vid, utilizando una enzima xilanasa y per\u00f3xido de
