Hemos descrito las caracteristicas anatomicas de dicha articulacion en rm con la valoracion de los sujetos que integran el grupo control (n=12). Hemos estudiado las variaciones de dicha morfolog\u00eda en los sujetos que integran el grupo patologico (n=31) clasificados por grados radiologicos de sacroilitis segun los criterios de new york modificados, describiendo una serie de lesiones caracteristicas independientemente del grado de sacroilitis: alteracion de la se\u00f1al del cartilago (87%); alteracion en cortical osea (87%) tales como: perdida de definicion de los margenes articulares (80,6%) erosiones (71%), esclerosis subcondral (69%), puentes oseos (22,6%) y fusion osea (22,6%); en medula osea: infiltrado graso (67,7%), edema (1,6%). Las variaciones en la intensidad de se\u00f1al de las estructuras descritas nos permiten conocer el grado de afectacion y el momento evolutivo de la enfermedad.
