En este trabajo se caracteriza la intercalaci\u00f3n de un colorante de laseo, rodamina 6g, en el espacio interlaminar de pel\u00edculas de arcillas. Se emplean diferentes tipos de arcillas, tanto naturales como sint\u00e9ticas, con y sin la presencia de surfactantes en la superficie de adsorci\u00f3n.     mediante la t\u00e9cnica de recubrimiento por giro (spin coating) se obtienen pel\u00edculas delgadas de arcillas cuyas l\u00e1minas se orientan paralelamente en el prota-soporte. La intercalaci\u00f3n del colorante se hace por inmersi\u00f3n de las pel\u00edculas en disoluciones de r6g. La adsorci\u00f3n con una orientaci\u00f3n preferencia respecto a la normal a las pel\u00edculas permite disponer de un ordenamiento macrosc\u00f3pico de mol\u00e9culas de colorante distribuido en el espacio bidimensional de las l\u00e1minas de arcilla.     para una adecuada caracterizaci\u00f3n de las pel\u00edculas colorante\/arcilla se requieren diversas t\u00e9cnicas. As\u00ed, la morfolog\u00eda de las pel\u00edculas se estudia por microscopios afm y sem. La intercalaci\u00f3n del colorante en el espacio interlaminar se determina por difracci\u00f3n de rayos x. La termoestabilidad del colorante se analiza por t\u00e9cnicas de termogravimetr\u00eda y calorimetr\u00eda diferencial. Finalmente, la presencia de varias especies del colorante (mon\u00f3meros y agregados) se caracterizan por espectroscop\u00edas de absorci\u00f3n uv\/vis y fluorescencia, en modo estacionario y resuelta en el tiempo. el comportamiento anisotr\u00f3pico de estos sistemas se constata mediante la absorci\u00f3n y emisi\u00f3n de luz linealmente polarizada, que permite evaluar el \u00e1ngulo de orientaci\u00f3n de las mol\u00e9culas de colorante.  en este trabajo se desarrolla y aplica por primera vez la polarizaci\u00f3n de fluorescencia para determinar la orientaci\u00f3n de mol\u00e9culas absorbidas en pel\u00edculas de arcillas.
